Purpose.
Bows for Hope has a heart to serve anyone in need. Wether the need is close to home or far away we are trying to help where the need is greatest. There are constantly people who encounter situations beyond their control and are in need of financial aid. Our goal is to help suppost those people. Periodically changing the recipient of our profit, we want to help as many people as possible.
How it started.
I'm sure everyone has heard of the devastation that occurred in the Pacific that affected Japan on 3/11/11. Tsunami and earthquake strikes have left many Japanese families without a home and in need. I really desire to help all of the people and to do so I am trying to raise money to send to the Red Cross foundation to help aid the people in the nation of Japan. My project is handcrafting elegant hair bows and selling them for $1-$3 depending on the size of the particular bow. If you like any of the styles, or even just want to help me raise money, please contact me and let me know if you'd like to purchase. (:
Other donations.
Recently, five teens from our high school and one teen at a neighboring high school were involved in a single-car accident that took the lives of Juan Zambrano and Sasha Abitante. Others affected were critically injured, Brian Corbett, who is currently hospitalized, and passengers Gabe Fernandez, Dylan Delgado and the driver, Nick Wagy, who are all home now. Brian is still in the hospital on life support and does not have enough health insurance coverage. Also, Sasha's parents cannot afford the cost of her funeral. In order to reach out to these families Bows for Hope will be starting funds over and donating to these three families who desperately need it. This accident hits close to home and we really want to help as much as possible, but we need your support once more. With the great succcess from the Japan fundraiser we hope to achieve the same stature of donations for these teens. Thank you all so very much<3
